At the centre of the creative energy found in every Cirque du Soleil show are acrobats, dancers, singers, musicians, clowns and actors at the pinnacle of their art: Cirque du Soleil performers. The Casting team, based at Cirque du Soleil's International Headquarters in Montreal, combs the world in search of talented artists and acrobats.
Acrobatic and artistic talent scouts attend major sporting events, as well as various international circus festivals and multidisciplinary shows, to discover new talent. Cirque du Soleil is not only looking for individuals with specific athletic or artistic abilities, but also for those who are willing to express their inner creativity.
Each year, the Casting team must find several hundred artists to meet the needs of the shows in performance as well as new shows and projects.
